Saskatchewan’s extension-cover champion for good drivers
SGI Canada (a SK champion) competes in AB: Beyond SGI’s mandatory plate insurance, SGI Canada underwrites optional/extension coverage and is often the most competitive option for Regina & Saskatoon drivers with good DSR scores. It also competes in Alberta and Manitoba. Note the Auto Fund’s first increase since 2014 (+3.75%, June 2026) affects the basic plate, not extension pricing.
